Before you start your project, know what you want to replace your old ceramic bathroom tiles with.  Your bathroom renovations will be much easier if you keep the same color and style of ceramic tile.  Just take a sample tile with you when you go to find the replacement tile.  Having the tile with you makes matching the replacement tile much easier.  If you want to replace it with other tiles of a different type and color, price them and see how much they cost per square foot.  Creating an accurate budget depends on having good measurements and cost per square footage figures.
