In 2009 Acer had announce that it is in the process of making the very first netobbok that will run Chrome OS. And now they seem to be working in the direction of this even more hard. I have written this many times earlier, but still for those who have yet not heard the word Chrome OS or have heard but don’t really know how it is going to be different from the Chrome browser, here is a quick and simple definition of the witout a doubt well-known Chrome OS:
Chrome Operating System is nothing but a mix of browser and operating system. That is user will start Chrome as a browser and obtain all the stored softwares and documents in cloud. Get the necessary tool from the cloud, use it and give it back to the cloud. Uncomplicated. That could save the fear of losing any imperative data if your OS crashes and something else goes wrong while using operating system. Besides, the whole method is going to be amazingly fast. Just in seconds, the computer will boot and you can get to use the internet.
Okay, getting back to our key topic of discussion, Acer is also about to introduce e-reader which they say will probably be of about 6 inches. What Acer believes is that the Amazon Kindle (e-reader) serves more to US centered consumers; whereas Acer’s e-reader shall be developed especially for Asia Pacific and West-Europe places.
What’s more fascinating is that Acer is also operating towards planning their App store. Unquestionably Apple App store is the inspiration (however, it’ll take years for any brand to compete Apple). I sure am looking forward to seeing Acer’s App store which claims to house numerous low priced apps. And some of the apps will be entirely of no cost.
