Motorola: Two New Devices In 2010

Motorola Droid was major hit. To put it accurately Droid was awarded the best gadget of the year in 2009. Droid employs open source operating system, Android. And since then Motorola is working on bringing out several Android devices in the market. Based on latest news Motorola is on its journey to launching two new Android based devices.

Most probably the release will be in 2010. The announcement will be in CES. One on AT& T and Verizon. Few things about the devices that rumors indicate us are that both the phones will have OLED screen and slide out QWERTY.

Motorola’s Two New Devices, Including Motorola Sholes:

On devices with QWERTY slide outs, buttons of the devices are seen even when the QWERTY slide is closed. A lot has been said about Sholes. To look at its specifications, you may read: Motorola XT701 Sholes Leaked Images And Specs. The picture and Specifications haven’t been announced officially yet. Also, the picture and all the specifications don’t match. Probably, only the actual device when it is out can give an accurate detail of what the phone has and what it doesn’t have.

With Android getting available in market, the trends have been transforming. As a matter of fact it is estimated that in near future, Android will lead the market. Other than Motorola, brands that have are working on Android are Sony Ericsson(will be out with Xperia10) , Google etc. Going by the number that had been reported earlier, year 2010 will witness about 50 more Android based devices. And very recently came the news that Android is preparing two more App stores. So that certainly records the new age in the gadget industry.
