Lately the whole discussion about whether or not Google will come out with its own cell phone was under doubt. Some said Google has always been given great software applications and for it to get into Hardware which is known for its thin margins is something Google may not be really interested in. But, here is something to make all those analysts doubt their analysis, if not totally prove them wrong.
I was on twitter, when a tweet caught my attention. And set me about to write this post. And by the time I am done writing the whole of twitter is going to be immersed in the Google cell phone news.
Just today the pictures of Google cell phone have been leaked out! A San Francisco based blogger, Corby O’Brian, tweeted pics of Google cell phone. The phone is called the Nexus One. However, Google has not given any signs of confirmation from its side. So people are still unsure if the pic is of the real Google phone or HTC passion. (There is a strong reason for the all this uncertainity as the HTC passion images leaked out early in October were so much similar to images of these supposedly Google cell phone). Also, apart from the Google cell phone picture, Carby O’Brian, has tweeted a bit about the Google phone: “Google Phone= iPhone + a little extra screen and a scroll wheel. Great touch screen and Android.”
If all the news of Google coming out with its own cell phone is true, then get ready to see the phone being launched in early months of 2010. (And hopefully the picture is not of HTC passion and is that of the actual Google cell phone.) Till then you may want to get on twitter and catch up with all the excitement of Google cell phone images and interesting Google tweets.
