Someone rightly said – technology comes with a price. What else would you say if you got to know all that cool gadgets that are supposedly there to make your life easier may ask for your privacy? Yes, carrying the so coveted pretty looking iPhone may now not be all that comforting. Seriously – the iPhone’s that carry a lot of your stuff stored in it, may also carry a dreadful worm –iPhone/privacy A, that will sweep away your iPhones’ data. Be it any feature of the phone, contacts, messages, songs, videos, images and email meaaseges and all that you yourself are do not know your iPhone has. That’s something to worry about!
{Do not be surprised, this is not the first the famous iPhone is is being attacked}. In the recent past there has been couple of such cases..
A quick look at past iPhone scandles related to the iPhone’s security
• Recently, an iPhone developer had got sued for accessing iPhone owner’s email Ids.
• The ikee episode affected iPhones. However this was not a severe or a very harmful work. (The ikee phenomenon attacks the jailbroken iPhone with SSH installed).
This may seem like owning an iPhone is dangerous!
In case this is your first time you hear ‘jailbreak’, an iPhone or iPod touch is jailbroken or unlocked to allow for third party application installations. So that was jailbreaking and the threat to jailbroken iPhones.
But out there, there are a lot of people who enjoy using an unlocked iPhone. May be not now.
